Pie and Tart

I was so inspired at a post on LeKaQuilts blog earlier this week, that I had to start on my Pie and Tart quilt. I have had the pattern and the fabrics for a while and it is perfect to bring outside on the porch.

I know I have many projects, but it was so tempting.

Light a Candle for Norway

Today Norway are in shock after the horrible happening yesterday.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the families that have suffer a terrible loss or are missing there loveones.

Another day to Stitch

I have been stitching and these days I finished block #1 and block #2 of AnnAKa's Christmas BOM.

I have prepared block #3 and I am ready to stitch :)

The nice weather we had yesterday is gone, and today it is raining and cold. But it is a good weather to sit inside and stitch.

Stitching in the sun

Finally we are having some sun. So today I will spend the day outside stitching. I am almost finished with block number two of my christmas BOM.

AnnAKa's new Christmas BOM.

I needed a change from my sampler quilt, so these past days I have been stitching on AnnAKs's new Christmas Bom. I am almost finished with block #1.  It feels good to have something different to do.

Summer Guests

Last week we got Summer guests on our smallholder farm. Don't they look like they are having a good time.

Center Block

Today I have prepared the center block to my Antique Sampler. I'm not very fast siticher due to a bad right arm and hand, but small steps and this quilt will be finished some day.

The 4th Large Block

Today I have spendt a lot of time out on my terrace stitching on the 4th large block on the Antique Sampler and it is done. This was the last one in this pattern. Now I have to trace the new shape on a template and start on appliqueing it to the other large blocks


You never know what you don't have until you go to a Quiltshop that has it...

A Finish

The before mentioned knited dress, is finished :-) and given to it's new owner.

Yesterday DH and I visited our new DGD, 5 days old. Isn't she lovely. :-D

Now it's time to continue to stitch on my Antique Sampler and I look forward to do that.  I have kind of missed it.
