Inspiration evening with Lise Bergene

Last Thursday I attended a inspiration evening held by Kathrines Quilte stue. It was a show and tell on the classes given there this autumn, a book launching of "Lises Lappetepper" by Lise Bergene and a big sale on fabrics from the store.

The latest Block of the Month - Sunshine Frolics from The Birdhouse

Lise Bergene had brought many models from the book. This was a very inspiration evening.

After the Show & Tell we all shopped. They had great sale on books, fabrics, buttons and miscellanys.

My mother and I also went in to the center of Birmingham when we visited The Festival of Quilts. And what did we find, a fabric store with 4 floors of gorgeous fabrics.

Material Obsession

Look what was waiting for me in the mail today. I have only peeked thru it, but I love it. I am going to enjoy this book, relaxing and watching. I have followed Kathy Doughty and Sarah Fielke on their blogg for some time and they are two quilters that share so much of themselves.
